About Us:

As a Forklift Operator at our Medical Waste Incinerator facility in McCarran, NV, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials.

Responsibilities:
* Operate electric and manual powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and electrical pallet Jacks to lift, push, pull, stack or move containers.
* Load and unload designated trailers and internally transport materials within processing and/or warehouse areas.
* Receive, relocate, and dispose of materials through the use of a RF barcode scanner and/or other electronic and manual systems.
* Pack and palletize product and apply correct labels.
* Verify all inbound bills of lading for accuracy against the delivered products.
* Maintain the integrity of materials through proper handling and storage.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
* Maintain accurate inventory of inbound shipments on applicable systems.
* Maintain accurate record logs.
* Identify hazardous waste materials and adhere to instructions related to their movement/process.
* Promote a safe work environment through personal actions. Identify safety concerns as well as cost saving opportunities.
* Communicate with disposition services to coordinate inbound transportation.
* Maintain and check inbound locator system on a daily basis and record a carrier's tracking number or Bill of Lading into computer system.

Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Previous forklift, pallet jack or other power equipment experience preferred.
* Maintain forklift certification.
* Demonstrate general working knowledge of computers.
* Demonstrate familiarity with bills of lading, reading numbers and labels as well as add, subtract and multiply.
* Maintain Valid driver's licenses.
