We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our team at MyCareersFuture. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing and building out web-based applications and services in a UNIX infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and implement web-based applications and services in a UNIX infrastructure using Weblogic Server/Portal.
- Troubleshoot complex application integration points and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale J2EE hosting solutions.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Lead the deployment of new applications in the Weblogic and WebSphere hosting environment.
- Collaborate with application teams to gather configuration needs and facilitate changes with administrators and product vendors.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- At least 8-10 years of experience supporting Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat, IBM HTTP Server, Apache, and similar middleware products.
- Extensive experience with J2EE at the large-scale enterprise system level.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Jython, Python, YAML, and Perl.
- Administration of middleware using tools such as mDeliver and BladeLogic.
- Ability to troubleshoot middleware products using various diagnostic tools.
- Experience with peripheral systems, monitoring systems, and industry security baselines.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
