Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room at ChristianaCare in Wilmington, Delaware.
About the Role:This is a full-time position working night shifts, with a 20% night shift differential pay. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to surgical patients, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patients' vital signs.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware.
- BSN required or commitment to obtaining a BSN within three years of hire.
- At least one year of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- BLS Certification.
