About Our Emergency Department

We are seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join our team at Summit Veterinary Referral Center, a world-class emergency and specialty hospital in the South Puget Sound.

As an Emergency Veterinarian, you will be part of our ECC (Emergency and Critical Care) mentorship program, which provides comprehensive training and education in emergency medicine. You will work closely with our critical care specialists, ECC doctors, and specialty teams to provide high-quality patient care.

ECC Mentorship Program

Our ECC mentorship program is a six-month certificate program that includes:

  • Time working with our criticalists, ECC doctors, and specialty teams
  • Formalized group didactics with colleagues both within the hospital and within the Ethos ER Immerse program across the country

Upon completion of the mentorship program, you will spend two years as an ER doctor at Summit, with competitive wages and a generous benefits package.

Compensation and Benefits

During the mentorship period, you will earn $3,200 biweekly (approximately $83,200 annually). After completing the program, your salary will be the greater of $70/hour or 25% production.

In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) with employer match, and paid time off (including sick time).
