Pastry Chef

The Pastry Chef is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality pastry and baked goods to our guests. This role requires a strong passion for culinary arts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare and cook a variety of pastry and baked goods according to recipes and production guidelines
• Ensure high-quality presentation and presentation of all pastry and baked goods
• Train and guide staff on job duties, proper food safety and sanitation procedures, and cooking methods
• Schedule and assign daily work assignments to a food service team and oversee the completion of tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety policies and procedures

• 2-3 years of experience in a related position
• 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience
• Culinary degree preferred
• Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession
• Experiential knowledge of management of people and/or problems
• Oral, reading, and written communication skills

Aramark offers a competitive salary range of $65,000.00 to $75,000.00, plus additional compensation may include a bonus or commission.
