Comprehensive Athletic Trainer

At JAG Physical Therapy, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Athletic Trainer to join our team. As an experienced professional in the field of sports medicine, you will provide top-notch care to athletes while working collaboratively with our physical therapists and other healthcare professionals.
We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements, and contributing to a dynamic and supportive work environment.
About the Role:As an Athletic Trainer at JAG Physical Therapy, your primary responsibility will be to provide athletic training services for our clients. This includes managing athlete care, documenting injuries and treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Your duties will also include providing preventative care, such as taping and bracing, as well as emergency care, including CPR and first aid.
You will work closely with our supervising physicians to develop standard operating procedures and ensure adherence to state licensing requirements and professional practice standards. Effective communication skills are essential in this role, as you will need to involve athletes, families, and other relevant parties in the plan of care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE-approved program
- BOC certification and NJ Department of Education clearance
- Current BLS certification and Personal Liability Insurance
- Flexibility and adaptability necessary to adjust to fluid situations
