Job Overview:

In the role of Oncology Patient Support Specialist, you will play a crucial part in assisting nursing staff and ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their needs. Your responsibilities will include supporting patients with their daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. As a member of a collaborative healthcare team, you will work alongside both licensed and non-licensed personnel to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist nursing staff in delivering patient care
  • Support patients with their daily living activities
  • Facilitate procedures that promote physical hygiene and comfort
  • Work collaboratively with team members to enhance care delivery

Required Qualifications:

MANDATORY

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a patient care role within a hospital or acute care environment
  • Valid BLS (CPR) certification
  • High School diploma or equivalent

PREFERRED

Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant Program

Work Schedule:

7PM-7AM
