Job Title: Certified Recreational Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Certified Recreational Therapist to join our team at Supportive Community Innovations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Recreational Therapy programming in conjunction with NCTRC and Indiana Medicaid Waiver requirements and designations.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Recreational Therapy programs for individuals with developmental, behavioral, and/or physical differences
  • Conduct assessments and create treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each individual
  • Provide activity resources and support to individuals and their families
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training
Requirements:
  • Active and valid CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) credential, accredited by the NCTRC
  • Bachelor's Degree in RT Field or equivalent path
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass extensive background checks and drug screenings
  • Day and evening availability
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • High level of enthusiasm and energy
