Job Summary:

The Clinical Dietitian at Pappas Restaurants is responsible for overseeing the nutrition care of patients, performing nutritional assessments, and managing physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements. This role requires a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and certification/licensure as required by state of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nutritional assessments and develop personalized nutrition plans for patients
  • Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements
  • Provide nutritional education to patients and/or families
  • Attend patient rounds and maintain clinical nutrition policies

Requirements:

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Certification/licensure as required by state of practice
  • Bachelor's degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or related area
  • 1-2 years of clinical care in an acute care facility preferred
