Traveling Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Nurse RN to join our team at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. As a critical care travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU and PCU settings
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Float between ICU and PCU units as needed to meet facility needs
- 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system
- Ability to work every other weekend and occasional holidays
- Flexibility to accommodate block scheduling and on-call requirements
- Experience working in a hospital of similar size and acuity (Academic Medical Center, Level 1 Trauma Center, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
