Role Overview
The Mobile HVAC Technician is responsible for the operation, inspection, and maintenance of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within designated facilities. This role aims to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment while minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance and repair strategies. Responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ongoing preventive maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Manage the operation and repair of HVAC systems and associated equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Perform regular inspections and assessments of facility conditions to support client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, ensuring safety and minimal disruption.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings during inspections and recommend necessary actions.
- Familiarize yourself with various equipment and their operational methods, including building automation and fire safety systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment, identifying and mitigating hazards.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Be available for after-hours support as needed.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Perform additional operational tasks typical of the Mobile Engineer role.
Required:
- Universal EPA 608 Certification.
- A minimum of four years of technical experience in building engineering, with a strong focus on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- A valid state driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and climb ladders up to 30 ft.
- Willingness to perform on-call duties and overtime as required.
- Knowledge of MEP/HVAC system design and application.
- Experience with work order management and CMMS technology.
- Background in service roles within commercial facilities.
Expected pay range: $32-34/hr
Estimated annual compensation:
$66,720.00 USD
This compensation range includes potential bonuses and is based on various factors including education, experience, and market data.
