Job Title: Installation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Installation Specialist to join our team at Brown's Medical Imaging. As an Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, and maintenance of medical imaging equipment in hospitals and medical facilities across the Midwest.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and calibrate medical imaging equipment according to manufacturer specifications and facility requirements.
  • Ensure proper alignment, configuration, and functionality of all components.
  • Collaborate with facility staff to plan and execute installations with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Perform initial testing and verification of equipment to ensure accurate and reliable imaging and compliance with OEM specifications.
  • Conduct thorough performance checks and make necessary adjustments.
  • Verify compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with technical support teams and manufacturers for complex repairs and upgrades.
  • Maintain detailed records of installations, calibrations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
  • Generate comprehensive reports for clients and management.
Requirements:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Certification in medical equipment installation and maintenance a plus.
  • Strong understanding of technology and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong remote management and follow-up methodology.
  • Ability to travel, air, train, car, within the United States on a regular basis.
  • Experience uncovering trends and discovering root cause impacts of potential operational issues.
