Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL B Local Delivery Truck Driver to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
  • Load and unload products from the trailer, using a hand truck or other equipment as needed.
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures as required.
  • Communicate with customers and management to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Meet or exceed productivity and safety standards established by the company.
Requirements
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Class B
  • One year of experience as a truck driver, preferably in a local delivery role.
  • Ability to read and understand English.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent lifting of products up to 50 pounds, as well as occasional lifting of heavier products. You must be able to climb on and off the truck and work in confined spaces.
