Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

• Assist Pharmacists: Under the supervision of our licensed pharmacists, you will assist with various pharmacy tasks, including filling prescriptions, processing patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients and customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in pharmacy operations and customer service.

• Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, customers, and healthcare professionals.
• Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to learn pharmacy software and systems.
• Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
