Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse-Labor and Delivery to join our team at TotalMed. As a travel Registered Nurse-Labor and Delivery, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and obstetric emergencies.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
  • Experience in labor and delivery nursing, preferably in a travel setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
