Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Automation Systems Design and Development: Develop and implement automation systems that meet business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to team members, ensuring that automation projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Project Management: Lead project tasks from design to commissioning, ensuring that all technical requirements are met and that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Client and Vendor Interface: Collaborate with clients and vendors to ensure that technical requirements are met and that projects are delivered to the required quality standards.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure that all automation projects meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, and that quality is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrate a strong understanding of business demands, including schedule, scope, budget, and client requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in automation or controls-related fields, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in leading automation tasks within a team.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical expertise in multiple automation system platforms, including DCS, PLC, HMI, SCADA, and other applicable systems.
  • Certifications: Ability to obtain ISA Certified Automation Professional (CAP) certification.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in verbal and written English.
  • Availability: Available for after-hour, weekend, and holiday work, as well as overnight and extended travel.
