Urology Physician Specialist

St. Luke's corporation is seeking a highly skilled Urology Physician Specialist to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Urology Physician Specialist will practice medicine in a family practice clinic and other settings, working under the direction and responsible supervision of a licensed physician (MD or DO). The ideal candidate will evaluate and monitor health status, perform diagnostic and therapeutic services, provide age-appropriate education and counseling for disease prevention, risk reduction, and health maintenance, and coordinate referrals for specialty care or social service support.

To be successful in this role, the Urology Physician Specialist must have:
- A graduate degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Registration or eligibility to register with the Minnesota State Board of Medical Examiners.
- Certification or eligibility for certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Maintenance of continuing medical education requirements of the NCCPA.
- Eligibility for registration as a Physician Assistant in Wisconsin may be required.
- BLS certification with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Military Training Network.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within sixty days of hire into position.
The ideal candidate will have:
- One to two years of experience working as an advanced practice clinician.
The Urology Physician Specialist will work in a moderate-noise environment, regularly exposed to the risk of bloodborne diseases and occasionally exposed to unpleasant patient elements.
CompensationThe estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on location and experience.
