Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

Brenn+Hugh is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Southampton, PA. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in creating electrical design packages for advanced flight training simulators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for custom flight training simulators, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless execution of electrical designs.
  • Develop Bills of Materials (BOM) and ensure the accuracy of electrical components and systems.
  • Work closely with machinery assembly teams to provide technical expertise during the design and integration phases.
  • Use AutoCAD Electrical to design and draft electrical systems for advanced simulators and associated machinery.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably for machinery or equipment.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Familiarity with Fieldbus technology (CANbus, INTERBUS, etc.) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic grounding principles is a plus.
  • Understanding of UL standards is highly desired.
  • Experience with machinery assembly and control panel design is an advantage.
