About the Role

Vitalant is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Clinical Specialist, RN to join our Therapeutic Apheresis team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our life-saving mission by conducting advanced clinical procedures, including therapeutic apheresis procedures such as stem cell, granulocyte, and lymphocyte collections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct therapeutic apheresis procedures, including stem cell, granulocyte, and lymphocyte collections
  • Work autonomously in various clinical settings, including hospitals and donation centers
  • Coordinate with physicians and nurses from different hospitals for therapeutic treatments
  • Train clinical apheresis staff and assess performance of procedures
  • Utilize clinical judgment to ensure appropriate and safe apheresis treatments
  • Act as a clinical consultant for patient treatment planning
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma from an accredited School of Nursing required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2 years of previous hospital experience or related experience required
  • RN license in state of practice required
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Valid driver's license required
