Position Summary: Excavation Project Superintendent
We are seeking an experienced Excavation Project Superintendent to oversee our Site Division. This role involves hands-on supervision and comprehensive management of field operations at the job site. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills to ensure project success while adhering to strict timelines and construction deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertise in managing underground utilities, including cuts and fills.
- Plan and oversee the removal of materials and dirt in accordance with contractual obligations, budget constraints, and project timelines.
- Ability to interpret grade and job site plans effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with subcontractors and all stakeholders.
- Capable of leading a team while prioritizing safety and addressing unforeseen challenges.
- Commitment to safe working practices and proven experience in the field.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Site Superintendent or Foreman in a similar capacity.
- Proven track record in daily management of construction projects on-site.
- Strong proficiency in computer skills, communication, and organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to schedule, direct, and manage multiple work crews and subcontractors concurrently.
