Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a skilled Charge Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our rehabilitation programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, ensuring they provide exceptional patient care.
- Develop and implement nursing protocols and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
- Provide continuing education and staff development opportunities to enhance nursing skills.
- Participate in providing nursing care, assessing patient needs, and ensuring services are carried out and documented appropriately.
- Maintain patient health care records and supply inventory records.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
- Two years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- 1 to 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
- CRRN preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
