About the Role
This 13-week assignment requires a dedicated and compassionate nurse with experience in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures. As a Registered Nurse - Catheterization Laboratory, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare staff.
- Administer medications as ordered with proper documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
- Transport patients as needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
- The ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use a PC.
- Physical abilities including remaining in a stationary position, moving about, and transporting patients (50-100lbs).
