Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team at the City of Philadelphia. As a key member of our Office of Innovation & Technology, you will play a critical role in protecting our information systems and data from security breaches, cyber threats, and other vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform continuous monitoring and analysis of data using various tools to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Test the effectiveness of IT and business process controls and provide remediation recommendations to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Perform application, vulnerability, and penetration testing to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
  • Document, track, and report on security risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams, City Departments, Legal, and compliance departments to ensure a cohesive security strategy.
Requirements
  • Three or more years of experience in Information Security with experience working in government, large campus, and/or large enterprise environments.
  • Completion of a Bachelor's or Master's Degree program in Computer Science, Information Science, or Information Security.
  • Maintain or be working towards relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA, ISACA, SANS, EC-Council, and/or vendor-specific certifications.
