Overview
The SharePoint Developer / M365 Administrator plays a crucial role in both SharePoint Online development and Microsoft 365 management. The primary environment includes SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Teams, requiring proficiency in administering these platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage SharePoint 2019 On-Premise Farm, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Develop solutions following proper Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) procedures, starting with User Acceptance Testing and promoting to Production.
  • Conduct monthly patching, daily monitoring, ensure security compliance, and provide tier 3 support for technical issues.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot problems, and optimize resources for SharePoint applications.
  • Plan, document, and execute annual disaster recovery testing.
  • Utilize migration tools and PowerShell for content promotion to Production and refresh lower environments.
  • Assist in migrating SharePoint environments from on-premise to cloud-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with site owners and stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions of content and solutions.
  • Work with knowledge services and business analysts to gather requirements and develop functional and technical specifications.
  • Maintain sufficient storage by performing data clean-ups and archiving.
  • Review usage reports to enhance user experience.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of training materials and documentation.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities through automation and updated procedures.
  • Manage on-call responsibilities for escalation of priority incidents, maintaining ownership until resolution.
Required Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in SharePoint Development, with a strong focus on SharePoint Online.
  • Extensive experience with SQL Server.
  • 2+ years of experience in M365 Administration, particularly with SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Sharegate and SharePoint Essentials Toolkit.
  • Experience with PowerShell and SharePoint Management Shell.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, and/or ReactJS.
  • Experience with REST and XML.
  • Familiarity with Azure SQL and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with PowerApps and other collaboration tools such as Sway, Planner, Stream, and Viva.
