We are seeking a skilled Radiographic Technologist to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas West in Nashville, TN. As a Multimodality Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of radiographic procedures, including positioning patients and selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
- Implement radiation protection and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Prepare, perform, and assist physicians in special and advanced procedures, including the administration of contrast media and medications.
- Help position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure high-quality images.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards and submit high-quality images and documents to PACS in a timely manner.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date required.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date required.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
