We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN/RN to join our team at the Putnam County Jail. As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing individualized care plans.
Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, and deliver comprehensive healthcare to patients
- Administer medications, perform medical intakes, and respond to sick call requests
- Check and/or change medical dressings, perform 14-day physicals, and manage chronic care
- Provide patient education on health concerns, respond to medical emergencies, and maintain working knowledge of pharmacology
- Comply with all current and future state, federal, and local laws and regulations
- Valid LPN or RN licensure
- Valid CPR certification
- Ability to stand for extended periods, push, pull, reach, and bend frequently
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
