Job OverviewThe Conduct of Operations Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that nuclear power reactor plants' operations are in compliance with design and licensing bases. This includes evaluating operator actions, maintaining records of operational procedures, and identifying areas for improvement. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of operational procedures and safety protocols.
Responsibilities and Duties- Evaluate operator actions for consistency with safety and regulatory standards
- Maintain meticulous records of operational procedures and actions
- Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with the team to enhance operational efficiency and safety
- Respond to operational emergencies and ensure that safety protocols are closely followed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5 years of experience in nuclear operations and a deep understanding of operational procedures and safety protocols
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities
- Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of operational procedures, safety protocols, and the ability to evaluate and ensure operator compliance
