Responsibilities:
  • Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
  • Provide exercise instruction and patient education to patients and their families
  • Conduct home visits to assess patient needs and provide care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient progress and communicate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed
