Job Summary

Walgreens is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a patient-centric role. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including reviewing and processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Preferred: six months of experience in a retail environment, prior work experience with Walgreens, good math skills, and knowledge of store inventory control.
  • PTCB certification is a plus.
