About This Role
Suffolk Credit Union is seeking an experienced Director of BSA/AML to lead our compliance efforts. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the daily management and development of AML and regulatory policies, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. You will develop and maintain BSA/AML and CRB compliance programs, manage fraud across all products and channels, and implement policies and procedures to mitigate BSA/AML/OFAC compliance risks.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BSA/AML and CRB compliance programs
- Proactively manage and prevent fraud across all products and channels
- Liaise with law enforcement on criminal cases such as fraud, forgery, and robbery
- Identify BSA/AML/OFAC compliance risks and ensure the development of procedures, processes, and training to mitigate them
- Implement and enhance BSA and OFAC policies, procedures, and legal reporting requirements
- Manage BSA/AML/OFAC monitoring systems to identify suspicious or fraudulent activities
- Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting (e.g., CTRs, SARs, FinCEN 314(a))
