Banquet Houseperson Job Description

Loews Coronado Bay Resort, a luxurious getaway near San Diego, is seeking a highly skilled Banquet Houseperson. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional meeting experiences.

About the Role

  • This position requires a high level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Preparation

  • Review event orders and assignments to ensure seamless execution.

Cleanliness and Maintenance

  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in meeting rooms and surrounding areas.

Guest Interaction

  • Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, responding to their needs and requests.

Teamwork and Communication

  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrate exceptional guest service skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 100 pounds repetitively during shifts.

Work Schedule:

  • Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays.

Education and Experience:

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Experience:

  • One year+ experience as a Set Houseperson in a high-volume, upscale hotel.

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $44,000, based on industry standards and cost of living in the area. This figure may vary depending on individual circumstances.
