Job Summary:

As a Respiratory Therapist at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing education to patients and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide education to patients and families
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree
  • Current Florida Respiratory Therapist Licensure
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) OR current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) OR an equivalent credential acceptable to the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • New graduate Registered Respiratory Therapist encouraged to apply
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association or must be obtained within 120-day orientation period
  • Current NRP certification if working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
