Operating Room Nurse

At Cross Country Nurses, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Open Heart Nurse to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Operating Room Open Heart Nurse to work in our Memphis, Tennessee facility. As an Operating Room Open Heart Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care before, during, and after open-heart surgery.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for surgery, including administering medications and conducting pre-operative assessments.
- Monitor patient status during surgery and respond to any changes or complications.
- Assist with open-heart surgeries, including handling and preparing operating instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in a specialty.
- Current RN licensure and certification in CVOR.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
