Location: Miami, FL
A Dedicated Patient Care Associate will work collaboratively with our nursing and therapy teams to assist patients in their rehabilitation process. They are responsible for obtaining vital signs, helping patients with daily activities, promptly answering call lights, reporting any issues or progress observed, and reinforcing rehab techniques as assigned by the therapy team.
Compensation
$19.00 per hour + (Competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends)
Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with nursing and therapy teams to provide patient care
• Obtain vital signs and assist patients with daily activities
• Answer call lights promptly and report any issues or progress observed
• Reinforce rehab techniques as assigned by the therapy team
Requirements
• Nursing Assistant Certification required
• BLS required within 90 days of hire
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field such as a medical assistant or actively enrolled nursing student
