Position Summary: The Custodian is accountable for the thorough cleaning and upkeep of the entire facility utilizing appropriate cleaning agents, tools, and methods. This role may require substituting for the Building and Grounds Site Supervisor (BGSS) during their absence. The Custodian will also be responsible for reporting any hazardous conditions and/or maintenance requirements to the BGSS and other supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a custodial role preferred

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc:

  • Comprehensive understanding of various cleaning products and equipment
  • Willingness to learn Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
  • Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs. with assistance
  • Capacity to climb ladders and scaffolds
