Survey Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Technician to join our team at GPAC. As a Survey Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our client's engineering projects by providing technical expertise in survey-related software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Project Surveyors to complete survey and SUE deliverables, including survey control networks, boundary surveys, ROW surveys, ALTA surveys, and topographic and engineering design surveys.
  • Provide technical leadership in survey-related software, including AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Identify and recommend technology advancements, software/hardware, and process/standards recommendations to senior management.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Survey CAD Technician.
  • AutoCAD and Civil 3D survey experience.
  • Client CAD standards.
  • Trimble Business Center.
  • Microsoft software (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to upload/download and process survey data in Trimble Business Center.
  • Ability to process survey data into planimetrics and DTM.
  • Microstation experience is a plus.
