We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Lead Electronic Warfare/Signals Intelligence Systems Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will lead the development of electronic warfare and signals intelligence systems, working closely with software engineers, program management, and systems engineers to design and implement new capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and analyze RF and EW system and sensor architectures that satisfy system-level key performance parameters.
  • Perform analysis, trades studies, and make/buy studies to select sensor solutions that meet system-level key performance parameters.
  • Develop or build upon existing sensor and algorithm models written in Matlab and/or C.
  • Analyze test data and perform trade studies to improve system performance.
  • Apply software architecture principles to algorithm development, including documentation of algorithms and system performance.
  • Oversee mode implementation, unit testing, verification, and validation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience.
  • Experience with all phases of the systems engineering design process, including concept of operations, requirements development, software/system architecture, system integration and test, verification, and validation.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective leadership interface with other departments, all levels of management, professional and support staff, customers, potential customers, and government representatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with AFSIM, space systems, RF hardware (transceivers, antennas), and experience with field testing.
