Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Home Appliance Installation Specialist to join our team at Livingood's Appliance and Bedding. As an Appliance Technician, you will be responsible for the set-up and installation of household consumer goods.

This role is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, have a knack for troubleshooting, and can effectively manage their time to meet deadlines. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Follow established routes and schedules for delivery and installation
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles
  • Deliver and install major household appliances, such as wall ovens, cook tops, dishwashers, etc.
  • Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Obtain DOT Certification and follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must have:
  • A valid driver's license with a clean record
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance
  • Cabinetry or carpentry experience is desired
  • Light plumbing and light electrical experience is desired
  • Good communication and strong interpersonal skills, including written correspondence
