We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc.

Job Summary

This is a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver position responsible for safely transporting food products to customers while ensuring timely deliveries and professional customer service. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping us meet our customers' needs and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • A minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required.
  • The ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).
  • The ability to read and communicate in the English language.
