Summary/Objective:
This role operates under the direct oversight of an appointed Director. The individual is tasked with ensuring that all security posts are adequately staffed in alignment with the needs of the organization and its clients at all times.

Act as the primary point of contact with security personnel and lead the coordination of operational communications for the designated officers at client sites.

Security Operations Supervisors oversee uniformed security personnel by coordinating guard services, delivering outstanding customer service to their team, effectively mentoring staff, identifying and implementing cost-saving measures, ensuring training compliance, adhering to site-specific security protocols, and driving operational accountability through effective change management strategies.


Key Responsibilities:
Report directly to the Assigned Director of Operations.

Execute the directives of the Director of Operations regarding administrative and operational policies and procedures within the division.

Conduct customer check-ins at least once every 30 days.


Utilize the dispatch department, field supervisors, account supervisors, and site supervisors to manage, assign, control, coordinate, guide, supervise, and train all operational staff to effectively deliver security services and ensure the company’s mission is fulfilled.


Regularly inspect all assigned client locations, evaluate guard performance, and review site logs during visits to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, confirm guard performance meets company standards, and verify that site logs and entries are accurately completed.


Monitor Winteam software daily to ensure that posts are filled appropriately, taking action when unconfirmed or open posts are identified in your area.


Be directly responsible for officer compliance with BSIS requirements, including guard card licensing, ongoing education, CPR certification, NARCAN certification, and any weapon licensing.

Establish a communication channel with area field supervisors, account supervisors, and site supervisors.


Oversee the supervision of all account supervisors, site supervisors, and lead guards within the division, ensuring compliance with their assignments and company procedures.


Be accountable for the continuous training and assessment of all assigned account supervisors and site supervisors in various operational topics.


Initiate disciplinary actions against personnel assigned within your area; all disciplinary documentation must be submitted to HR without delay.

Serve as a problem-solving coordinator for the assigned Director of Operations.

Assist in investigating all complaints made against personnel in your area.

Review Daily Activity Reports (DAR) to ensure compliance with the approved format.

Ensure all incident reports are forwarded to the Director of Operations for review and that incidents are reported to both client and operations management teams promptly.

Availability for all operational meetings is required.

Collaborate with clients on all finance-related matters such as invoice reviews, billing corrections, collections, and rate adjustments.

When utilizing the company vehicle, adherence to all applicable motor vehicle laws is mandatory.

Responsible for overseeing the implementation and use of the guard tracking system, Lighthouse.

Must comply with the Auto and Electronic Tracking Policy.


Prepare monthly reports related to the performance of your Business Unit and review these with your supervisors to enhance performance where necessary.

Ensure that posts and guards meet the qualifications mandated by BSIS and the client contract.
