Job Summary
: As a Cook - AM with Ascent Hospitality, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Key Responsibilities
:- Prepare and cook food to order, adhering to health and safety standards and brand guidelines.
- Provide friendly and responsive customer service to hotel and restaurant guests and staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation, including setup and organization of catering functions.
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition.
Requirements
:- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- One year or more culinary experience in a hotel or restaurant preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to obtain food Handler's Certificate and ServSafe certification within 30 days of hire.
Working Conditions
: The employee will be required to stand on hard surfaces and be exposed to warm temperatures for long periods of time; use arms, hands, and legs repetitively; handle or feel various food products; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee will also be required to walk, balance, talk, hear, taste, and smell. Regularly able to carry and lift items in excess of 25 pounds without assistance.-
