Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Certified Pharmacy Technician to become a vital part of our healthcare team at Manpower - San Diego Franchise. In this role, you will contribute significantly to the efficient functioning of our hospital pharmacy while ensuring exceptional patient care.
- Assist licensed pharmacists in the preparation and administration of medications.
- Maintain precise and current patient records.
- Execute various pharmacy functions, including inhalation therapies and intravenous infusions.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent contamination and safeguard patient health.
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of medical terminology for effective patient care.
- Deliver outstanding patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Thrive in a fast-paced critical care environment.
- Keep a clean and organized workspace, in compliance with hospital standards.
- Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Experience in a hospital pharmacy environment.
- Proficient in patient care and medical terminology.
- Capability to administer medications and conduct IV infusions.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Excellent skills in patient service.
- Ability to function effectively in a high-pressure critical care setting.
- Strong understanding of hospital procedures and protocols.
- Proficiency in a pharmacy context.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and safety.
Required Certifications/Licenses:
Must possess a CA Board of Pharmacy Technician license. PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) certification is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Communication Skills:
Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish or English/Arabic preferred). Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
Preferred Knowledge:
Familiarity with the Medi-Cal Program, medical terminology, and pharmacy automation equipment such as blister packs, robotics, and counting machines is advantageous.

$32.94 per hour
Expected Work Hours:
40 hours per week
