As a Quality Assurance Consultant V, your responsibilities will include:
Role Overview:
The Merchant Service team is in search of a Quality Assurance Consultant to evaluate Merchant Business Services Software on Point-of-Sale devices. This position entails testing and delivering intricate software solutions to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in testing methodologies, ensuring that software adheres to functional, non-functional, and compliance standards. Responsibilities include generating and conditioning test data, constructing and executing both manual and automated test suites, documenting and communicating test outcomes, and assisting in defect triaging. Additionally, you will maintain and design regression test suites effectively. You will collaborate within scrum teams, working alongside development to fulfill project requirements as part of integrated releases and monthly application updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test and deliver complex software requirements to meet business goals.
- Ensure software testing meets all functional, non-functional, and compliance criteria.
- Generate and manage test data, build and execute both manual and automated test suites, and assist with defect triaging.
- Maintain and design regression test suites.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on requirements.
- Participate in test planning and ensure stories are well-defined with clear acceptance criteria.
- Identify automation opportunities and develop test automation for relevant test types.
- Assist in managing sensitive test data.
- Report issues and defects with necessary background information for review.
- Participate in triaging reported issues/defects and assist in their resolution or escalation.
- Possess a solid understanding of Agile Methodology and the Scrum process.
- Experience in Mobile testing is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in developing test automation for large-scale applications.
- Experience in Mobile Testing (Android) on POS Terminals.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- Exposure to API-driven testing.
- Experience with automation tools and best practices.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Objective-C, TypeScript, .NET, and Flutter.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on product quality.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, use case definition, and test planning/execution.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Postman, ADB, Android Studio, and others.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $58 - $60 Per Hour
