Job Responsibilities
  • Complete consultation projects for Snake River Basin Chinook salmon, steelhead, and sockeye salmon
  • Review biological assessments from action agencies and draft Letters of Concurrence and Biological Opinions
  • Participate in review and preparation of final actions under the Endangered Species Act
  • Review proposed habitat restoration projects to implement Recovery Plans and the FCRPS habitat program
Duties and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and four years' experience or Master's degree and two years' experience in aquatic biology or related field
  • Knowledge of salmonid general life cycles and habitat requirements
  • Highly proficient English language composition skill
  • Skill in most common software applications
