Cafeteria Staff

We are seeking a motivated Cafeteria Staff member to join our team at MercyOne Northeast Iowa. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our patients, visitors, and staff.

• Food Preparation: Prepare menu items according to recipes and procedures, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Cash Handling: Accurately operate cash register.
• Supply Management: Receive, store, and rotate supplies as needed.
• Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with infection control and colleague health policies.

• Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, and understand English language, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff, and physicians.
• Math and Reasoning Abilities: Basic math skills and reasoning abilities required.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate courteously and clearly.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of food safety and hand hygiene protocols.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
