We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases by examining and analyzing cell samples.
Responsibilities- Certification and Licensure
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
- Tech Cert Verification - National
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
- Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing
- State License 1 Verification
- NIH Stroke Certification
- Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication)
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam

- Job Details
- Required Experience: Non-Gynecological (Ascitic Fluid, Esophageal, Gastric, Spinal, Thin-Prep), Respiratory Tract (Bronchial), Body Fluids (Urine), Fine Needle Aspirations (Assist, Collection, Make smears, Preliminary Diagnosis, Staining), Fixations (Cytolyt, Saccomono), Assist with on-site procedures, Quality control/assurance, Specimen labeling/identification
- 2 years of prior Cyto Tech experience required
- ASCP required
- First time travelers accepted

- I9 or Attestation required
- Copy of a valid government issued Photo ID is required by the contract
- Everify or Attestation required
- Photo for Badge is required
- Physical Exam required within 12 months of start
- Fit Test completed onsite during orientation, updated annually
- Tdap required for all travelers
- Negative TSpot or QGold (PPD not accepted) within 12 months of start required
- Positive Titers or Documentation of MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B vaccinations required
- 10 panel drug test required within 30 days of start
