Job Description

The Martial Arts Instructor position is for evenings, teaching beginners to advanced rank students.

We allow our martial arts instructors to teach their primary style, utilizing the ActivStars Athletics curriculum guidelines.

Our class locations are held year-round, and we are looking for committed and dedicated instructors for long-term positions.

Teaching responsibilities include class preparations, teaching students, overseeing class check-in, basic record-keeping, and promoting tournaments, camps, or clinics.

Paid training sessions will cover our teaching guidelines, records, and onsite training with a veteran instructor.

Requirements
  • You must have a Black Belt in a Traditional Forms-Based Style.
  • You should have a passion for making a difference in a child's life.
  • You should be certified in a traditional martial art such as Karate, Taekwondo, Kenpo, Kung Fu, or equivalent forms-based martial art.
  • You should have a solid technical foundation and knowledge of self-defense skills.
  • You should be 18 years of age or older.
  • You should have a reliable vehicle to get to and from the location(s).
