Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Credentialing Coordinator to join our team at Main Line Health. As a Credentialing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in providing credentialing services and support to applicants to the Medical and Specified Health Professional Staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide credentialing services and support to applicants, including maintaining physician meeting attendance records, preparing reports from the credentialing software, and ensuring the accuracy of practitioners' Clinical Privileges.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, payers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless credentialing processes.
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and guidelines related to credentialing and medical staff affairs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of credentialing applications.
- Provide exceptional customer service to applicants, providers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Three years of experience in credentialing and/or medical staff office experience preferred.
- Two years of recent secretarial experience required.
- Previous provider enrollment and payor credentialing experience strongly preferred.
- CAQH re-attestation experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as typing a minimum of 50 words per minute.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Secretarial or business school program completion preferred.
