About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at ONE GI LLC. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and record vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
  • Collect and process specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Obtain and verify patient health history.
  • Assist physicians with office visits and emergency situations.
  • Manage patient prescriptions and referrals.
  • Provide excellent patient communication and education.
  • Assist with scheduling office visits, procedures, and laboratory tests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant required.
  • Previous experience in a medical office environment preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology required.
