Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our primary care team in Northern Arizona. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Examine Patients and Medical Records: Conduct thorough examinations of patients and review their medical records to identify potential health issues.
- Order Diagnostic Tests: Order and study diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and X-rays, to aid in the diagnosis of health conditions.
- Diagnose Health Conditions: Use your expertise to diagnose health conditions and illnesses, and develop effective treatment plans.
- Prescribe Medications: Prescribe medications as necessary to treat patients' health conditions.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Inform Patients: Educate patients about their health conditions, prescribed medications, and recommended treatment plans.
- Educate Patients and Families: Educate patients and their families on diseases, epidemics, and prevention strategies.
- Promote Good Health Practices: Promote healthy lifestyle choices and good health practices among patients and their families.
- Experience as a Nurse Practitioner: Possess experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting.
- Active AZ State License: Hold an active Arizona state license or be willing to obtain one.
- Primary Care Experience: Have experience working in primary care, acute care, or chronic care practices.
